FAQ
Common questions
Which permits can you help with?
We’re starting with common contractor permits including roofing, HVAC and furnace, water heaters, windows, siding, and fences. Available permit types vary by city.
Do I still have to deal with the city?
Not directly. You complete the permit in Trade Permit, and we handle the city’s side: submission, follow-up, and requests for more information. If the city needs something from you, we’ll ask for it here.
Which cities do you work in?
We’re focused on Utah and adding cities as we expand. Enter the job address when you start a permit and we’ll tell you if it’s a city we cover.
How will I know where my permit stands?
You’ll be able to see the status of your permit, anything we need from you, and what happens next through Trade Permit.
What does it cost?
Our service fee depends on the permit. You’ll see the cost before submitting. City permit fees are separate and vary by jurisdiction and project.
